Umm, I think I would prefer Witten to not play in the preseason until the last game or two and even then keep it to a minimum. I don't think he requires that much time to prepare.

Can you expand on this? What was said that led you to believe Phillips may not be done?

Wow, they didn't expect Teddy Williams to play at all this past game, and he played 30 plays.

That makes his competent play even more impressive if you ask me.

And Wade said they did decide to throw those passes inside the red zone because we needed to work on it. Suggests that in the real games we'll run more often there this year.

he was asked about him and said he didnt know and put his head down and said they are looking at the mri.

they asked if he was done and he said he didnt know.

its not much, but its better than him just being out.

I caught the tail end of that. Did he say why he played 30 plays? Was it because he was playing well, or was there another reason?

Sounds like there may be some differing opinions as to what the MRI shows. I've never really heard of that happening before but if Wade doesn't know this late in the day, then there's hope.
