Wagner: LeSean McCoy 'didn't want no part' of contact

Exactly. I don't remember one run when McCoy took it up the middle. Every run play was left or right with the guard getting out on the LB to seal the edge. Dallas couldn't stop that all day. Even letting Sanchez option the DE out of his socks. I would hope they'd shore that crap up at least.

we are capable of doing this(just look at the Seattle game) but somehow we forgot to play fundamental football on thanksgiving.

Technically, he said he didn't want 'no part' of contact, meaning he wanted at least some part of it. Maybe McCoy hears that and takes it as a nice compliment that settles him down before our game.

It's clear the Seattle Seahawks weren't impressed with the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.


After cornerback Richard Sherman told reporters that the Legion of Boom "never felt threatened" by a Chip Kelly passing attack stripped of DeSean Jackson, linebacker Bobby Wagner called out running back LeSean McCoy for shying away from contact.

"We really wanted to make sure he felt us every single time he got the ball," Wagner said this week, per KIRO-AM. "There was one play he fell back. It was me and him in the hole and he just fell down. He didn't want no part of the contact, so I think that probably got to him."

McCoy's paltry 50 yards off 17 carries came on a day when the Eagles piled up the fewest total yards in a game (139) during Kelly's heady reign in Philly.

I have said this on many occasions. Philly doesn't respond well to physical teams and that accounts for all their losses. problem is we can be physical offensively but don't have the personnel to be physical defensively.

The fact Eagle players are still responding to what Seattle is saying is more of a benefit to us vs being a disadvantage. Their heads are still on Seattle. That was a demoralizing loss for them. When someone kicks your butt and reminds you during the game they're kicking your butt and afterward they tell you how they kicked your butt. On top of that they're making remarks that you're a complainer, not a threat in your gimmick system, your QB is pretending to be good and your RB didn't want in on the action of being hit. These guys are being called out and I doubt they're letting these comments go mentally. Keep it up Seattle! The more they think about you helps us.

These guys beat us decisively and thought they were ready for the hierarchy team and then got knocked down. Question is how far did they fall. Stay tuned.....

What's funny is if the Seahawks or any other team were saying this about the Boys after beating them, you'd hear many Cowboys fans going ballistic talking about how the other team out to shut their pie holes or how classless they are in victory.

People have been mentioning that the last seven teams have lost after playing the Seahawks. It's kind of funny, if you go back and check the Seahawks schedule, after they played us they lost to the Rams back when the Rams weren't doing that well.

You can tell on some plays Wilcox was trying in the last game. Unfortunately, either he took bad angles or got fooled on the play and looked really bad trying.

Correct me if I'm wrong but last year they didn't have Sproles, a healthy Maclin, Matthews and Ertz. Sanchez is also a slight improvement in veteran-ship over Foles. I would say this makes McCoy a little more diverse and harder to track.
