Mort just reported that TO's former Offense cordinator (or watever) said that the biggest problem he saw for TO and BP was the groin and hammy injuries that keep him off the practice field.

I thought that this was the first time TO hurt his hammy

I believe that this is the first time that he hurt his hamstring. However he has had chronic problems with his groin in the past - groin injuries have kept him out of numerous practices and games over the past 5 years.

He had a leg muscle injury last year in TC too, but it sounds to me like that Philly coach is just trying to stir the pot. He missed most of his time because of his contract squabbles, and he had those pressing crunches in his driveway.

From Foxsports Czar blog posted last week:

Childress on T.O.
Minnesota coach Brad Childress, the former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator, doesn’t have fond memories of Terrell Owens. Childress had a few thoughts on T.O.’s recent three-day absence with a strained hamstring.

Childress pointed out that Owens remains bothered by a serious groin pull, first suffered with the 49ers, and that the way he pushes himself on the practice field that there will always be the chance on nagging injuries with someone like Owens.

i'd rather be around the campfire than drowning my sorrows when, not if he implodes.

Just a month ago you were telling me NOBODY in aggieland was going to be talking noise this year, that you guys were going to have to be shown how good the aggies were first. Now you're talking Big 12 champs? Nothing like opening the season up with the Citadel, Louisiana Laf, A&M Consolidated High and the Coast Guard to get the hopes up I guess.

I don't think we will the conference, we probably go 8-4, but hope springs eternal this time of year, so don't quell my optimism ******!!!

And the coastguard reportadly has a stout defense :p:

I looked this up when he was signed. IIRC, he's only missed games the last 5 years because of a collarbone injury and the injury RW gave him. I believe he missed 2 games at the end of 2002 because the 49ers couldn't win a bye but had already clinched the western division.

If that's correct, he's missed 3 starts in 5 years due to injury, all not related to his current injury.

I'm predicting 9-3 for the aggies.
