Most of you are familiar with the four gaits of a horse. We all know what full gallop mode is about.

I saw an interview today with our rookie, Michael. Wow, was I impressed. The guy seems confident but not egotistical. He appears to have all the intangibles you want: teachable, hard-working, persistent. He listens, he is considerate...and he’s hungry.

Rookies don’t get up to full speed in their first season, but I love the kid and his early momentum.

Coach Lal speaks of him in very positive terms and describes why they kid can improve and capture his potential.

While Terrance is *stumbing* over himself and his own bicycle...the rookie is in Gallup mode to achieve his potential.

Hard not to root for him to be a starter.

But he’s a country kid, adopted...he played four sports...would make sure to help his teammates get lined up properly. If he has enough talent—still yet to be determined—he could be a solid team leader in coming years.
