I dont think so. We made some mistakes and were outplayed. It happens. I dont think effort or mindset was a problem going in.

You don't lose to worse teams without giving a bad effort. Effort was awful on offense yesterday.

Defense was ok...but choked when it mattered.

Miles dove on the ball. He lifted his head, lost leverage and got outmuscled by a bigger player.

Felix dove on the ball, was down by contact, then got the ball strpped by someone 120 lbs heavier AFTER the play should've been over.

Those plays had nothing to do with aggression or desperation.

I ddn't see the Spears play so i cant comment.

Their fullback blasted Spears on the sideline out of bounds, and got called for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

Apparently, stupid 15-yard fouls now mean that a team wants it more.

I figured as much. They were jawing, hitting, pushing and shoving after the play all game. They did the same thing last year.
