Okay I would love for us to trade down but I have said I wouldn't be mad if we drafted McFadden either. I know alot of people hate the idea of getting Darren because it is not a need right now.
Look at it this way, is a WR that won't even contribute and if he does it will be minimal a need right now? We all know we have to get younger at WR and we all know that we need better CB's as well but it be at least a year if not two before they could contribute.
So I ask you this, Why not sign Javon Walker? Why not trade a late pick for Pacman? Why not draft a guy that has the kind of talent that only comes along once a decade?
I would be impressed and feel like we had upgraded if our off season went something like. Zach Thomas, Javon Walker, Pacman, McFadden.
Don't forget how deep this draft is. We could still pick up some real talent in the later rounds as well. Just because it's not a first round pick doesn't mean he has no talent.
And who cares if Walker is old if he just a quick fix till we can develop a decent WR? Who cares if Pacman can't stay out of trouble if he gets a contract like tank got?
