Walking you through my 5 round community mock draft

This is a mock draft with a bit of a twist... it was a community mock done on a forum, where each person picking is (for most teams) a fan of the team and so has a good feel for needs. Because of this, it proved to be a really fun exercise and far more rewarding than the likes of the FanSpeak simulator or just projecting players who might be in a certain round.

Trades were allowed but only using picks within the draft we were doing - an agreed 5 rounds.

I would love this draft. Switch Ajai with Coleman it would be better. I might be tempted to take Bryon Jones over Harold with our first pick since we don't know what will happen with Carr and Claborne.

While the trade represented a good value, I'd be utterly pissed if we passed on Melvin Gordon. Rest of the picks were good though

I like the Montgomery pick.
I want to say if Gurley is that close, the Cowboys trade with Cleveland and take him. I'd rather we trade maybe a fourth this year and a third next year rather than anything above the third this year.
The Browns would love nothing more than to stick it to a division rival, and we would love nothing more than to get the best back in the draft and stick it to the Ravens once again.
But I think actual deaft, Gurley goes way before we pick in the first.
Having said that, we need pass rushers, particularly based on what happened in Green Bay and Hardy's impending suspension. So it's good that you're giving that some love.
