  1. http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/cowboysb_logo.gif Dallas Cowboys: Eli Harold, DE/OLB, Virginia http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/college/Virginia_logo.gif
The Cowboys couldn't get any pressure on Colt McCoy in an embarrassing Monday night defeat. Mark Sanchez had a clean pocket on Thanksgiving. Aaron Rodgers had all the time he needed in the divisional round of the playoffs. That has to change. Several upgrades can be obtained on the defensive line.

Dallas' defense was much better than anyone anticipated, but it was exposed during a stretch during the latter part of the season. There are still some weaknesses that need to be addressed - particularly in the interior of the defensive line, where Nick Hayden needs to be upgraded.

DeMarco Murray was too expensive to keep, so the plan was for Joseph Randle to become the new starting running back. The problem is that Randle was recently arrested for drug possession and domestic violence, so he could be suspended. If so, Dallas may spend a second-day selection on a back.

The Cowboys have major issues in their secondary, so it shouldn't surprise anyone if they spend multiple picks on upgrades.

The Cowboys addressed the safety position earlier in this mock draft, but they'll need to obtain multiple defensive backs because they are really hurting in the secondary.

If they think Harold can be a 4-3 DE, I can live with that draft.

That addresses a lot of spots Dallas is thin at, especially with Hardy on a one year "prove it" Deal.

Could you imagine Eli and Edwards becoming great starters? That would Solidify that D-line for years to come.

Walt is a known Cowboy hater. That blurb and Harold says NOTHING about the player and just disses the Cowboys. And is the same write up he has had constantly (Past few months) for whoever he puts in that spot. Great draft site, but his bias really shows thru !
Anyway, Isn't Harold too small for a DE ? Wouldn't he have to move to an outside backer ?

Bruce Irvin & Von Miller were about the same size when they were drafted.

A guy that size can not only work, but have success at the WDE spot.

Our biggest needs after signing Hardy are NB, 1-tech, MLB, and RB; he addressed just about none of that, especially in the first 2 rounds (neither of those guys can play 1-tech, and we have 3 pretty good DEs as it is and I think a potential superstar 3-tech).
