Walterfootball gave us a B+ for the pick and said they like the pick. Injuries aside he is good tackle. Mayock commented that every time he study Humphries he kept on noticing this guy. Hopefully, he turns to be solid at least.

I was thinking he may replace Ron as left OG, My thinking is with Rons bad knees we may not have Ron around for another 2-3 yrs

Not sure on the player. Not sure I wouldn't have preferred a DT (Carl went a pick before so maybe he was the guy). But I can't fault the strategy. You can never have too many lineman (offensive or defensive) or too any defensive backs. And those were our first 3 picks. The first two picks being amazing.

Draft has given me hope for the near present and the future.

Does come off that way, doesn't it?

Hard not to draw that conclusion when he's already elevating Chaz Green above him. Having said that, I assume he has his reasons. I have no doubt that he's studied Free's play much more closely than I.

Sorry, man, but this made me laugh. Thought the whole Free/Parnell thing was about your love for Parnell. Evidently, it was about your hate for Free.
To be fair....are we going to pretend like Parnell didn't just get a huge contract? One much bigger than Free received?

I think it's funny how people keep talking about Learys knees. I know he had concerns but they have not been an issue as of yet. Not saying they won't be but I dont think they are as big of a concern as some think. Could be wrong though.

I'm not judging his evaluation of Parnell relative to Free. Regardless, it's very bard to believe that Green is coming out a better player than Free. One has to really dislike Free to reach that view.

I know people, myself included, wanted a RB taken today. The way we've built this line, if Green can contribute, we'll have a solid player for a while. Maybe we'll look at RB in the 4th.

From what I read this guy could play all 5 line positions, he may have been a little reach but no where near as bad as some other teams. When you are drafting at the bottom of a round the lines between grades get blurry the further from the 1st round you get.

Its something you have to keep in the back of your mind. Where Green has value is the he COULD be our LG or he COULD be our RT.

Where im hard on the pick is that us something you look for in the later portions of the draft
