Toward the end of the season, I thought the Browns would draft Joey Bosa. Things change quickly, however, and as we all learned, Johnny Manziel is having major personal issues, pretending to be someone named Billy in Vegas while drinking his life away. The Browns can't go forward with a self-destructive alcoholic. New regimes mean new quarterbacks, anyhow, so Cleveland's front office will want to obtain its own guy.

If you check out the Senior Bowl Coverage, you'll see that Charlie Campbell's Monday rumors page has a report in which the Browns really like Carson Wentz. This is a lot closer than people think between Wentz and Jared Goff, and if the former has a strong showing in Mobile, he could emerge as the favorite to be chosen No. 2 overall.

Pick change; previously Jared Goff, QB

Just about everyone over their hates the Cowboys. Every year that place gives us crap players in their mocks. I'm surprised its not Buckner and Cook tbh.

The Cowboys were awful defensively this past season when they lost either Sean Lee or Rolando McClain to injury during a game. Well, McClain happens to be an impending free agent, while Lee's durability history is quite dubious. Dallas will be searching for linebacker help and could possibly pull the trigger in the top 10, maybe even in the top five.

If they question Lee's durability as a justification for Jack, they can easily justify a QB with Romo's durability questions.

So you don't have to follow the link, he has us taking Myles Jack and Connor Cook.

Jack is fine but I'll take a big no thank you on Cook.

"The Browns can't go forward with a self-destructive alcoholic" If he has us taking Myles Jack at #4, I wonder if alchohol isn't too far off from that end also. lol.

Browns, 49ers and Eagles all get the QB's, when we should taken one of them....and we will end up with their rejects in Kap, JF and Bradford as Tony's backup and heir apparent. Throw in RG3 too.
As JJ done came out and said, a 1st round QB is not needed, as Tony can play 4 or 5 years.....I am preparing for 20 more years of this crap. As the 49ers surpasses us in the rings department, and Eagles and Browns gets their first rings, multiple rings.

Actually I am ok with a QB in the 2nd, and possibly Cook, though when I watched him play, he never impressed me at all. But he is like 34 -6 as a starter or something like that. Same for Hackenberg, But what little I seen of him, I liked better than Cook. At that point, maybe better to wait on Prescott in the 3rd.
We know Cleveland will take a QB and ruin him, I just hate that SF & Iggles will get a franchise QB if this mock would come true.

If Romo gets hurt in the next few years we'll suck anyway. Wed be in the same position with potentially better qb options.

Agree. The snide remarks (even if some of it is somewhat true) in their write-up belies their obvious bias against Dallas and really lowers the credibility of their opinions.

Jack won't be the best player for us at #4. (my opinion)

I have said it before, I am not sure about him. Unless the idea is to move him inside and he can handle it, how does he get on the field if Lee stays on the weakside.

I do not see us spending that high of a choice for a LOLB in this scheme.

If only Jaylon Smith's knee were not wrecked, I would be perfectly fine with him at 4.

I really wish I believed Jaylon Smith would last to our spot in the second round. I think he has New England or Green Bay written all over him though. New England likes those tall, athletic guys who can play everywhere.

Thomas Davis him, as in play him at SS until Lee or MClain is done.

You're not comfortable with a Thomas Davis type player being on the field at multiple positions?! Ok

No, not comfortable assuming he is Thomas Davis 2.0.

Much less our ability to insert him into this scheme to let him function that way.
