Wanted to give some love to Malik Hooker. Dude has been a positive presence in the secondary. What has been most surprising about him, and this dates back to last season, is his tackling which I thought was a bit of weak area for him in Indy. Perhaps those struggles could be attributed to his chronic injury issues while there.

Good thing Cox hasn't played much yet. Imagine some of "give some love to" thread titles we'll see, when he has a great game.

Wanted Dallas to draft Hooker but he is here now and glad he is. Was really glad to see him get a pick. Though it was a layup pick. However he was where he was supposed to be to do so.
Lol, yeah, Even Alan Ball could have made that play!

Hooker, Wilson, and Kearse? What lotto did the team win? This is better than any safety group in the league. And Quinn is like if they take steroids too

and some young pups behind them with Israel Mukuamu who posted a 4.34 40, 6'4" 205 and Markquese Bell who posted 4.4 40. 6'02" 212

The cool part is the young safeties, Bell and Mukuamu, are playing well when they get their opportunities too. This is as strong as the safety position has been for this team probably since the 90's.

It's been a while since we've had decent safeties!! Bout time!!

Overall depth I think it is the best we have seen. Dallas has had some very good starters Waters and Harris and in the 90's with Woodson, James Washington, Thomas Everett but overall this current group is outstanding.

im glad we have him!

his only issue was injury other than that hes been a very very solid safety

He has been playing well. You can’t just pick up someone like Hooker at any old street corner.
