They almost did.I wanted to see it but it would be stupid to risk giving up a score before half.
Yeah I remember thinking OMG.They almost did.
Dak was hit, pass was short and almost picked. If they pick that, it’s nothing but offensive lineman and Dak to make the tackle.
Would have been our luck lol
Call me crazy, but I was 100% sure he would have done itWe all know he could reach it, 66 looked like it had 5-10 more left on it. Woulda loved to see the attempt and I got a feeling 70/+ will happen this year but most likely at home.
Don't play scared.I wanted to see it but it would be stupid to risk giving up a score before half.
Don’t play stupid FifyDon't play scared.
I don’t think it was being scared. I believe it was 20-3 and their ball At half. If its short and they score and score after half (they did) it’s now 20-17 and they have all of the momentumDon't play scared.
It would have been a dumb call. In to the wind with a huge chance of a return. And for no reason. There will be other chances for Aubrey to break the record. We all know he could reach it, 66 looked like it had 5-10 more left on it. Woulda loved to see the attempt and I got a feeling 70/+ will happen this year but most likely at home.
I think it's a lot more likely Aubrey makes a 71 yarder than that they do a 109 yard return.I don’t think it was being scared. I believe it was 20-3 and their ball At half. If its short and they score and score after half (they did) it’s now 20-17 and they have all of the momentum
Naw don't play stupid lol.Don't play scared.
Is the objective to win the game or to gloat about making a 70 yarder though?I think it's a lot more likely Aubrey makes a 71 yarder than that they do a 109 yard return.
It was already obvious that the Browns were totally outmatched on both sides of the ball. At worst, the Browns get a FG out of an Aubrey miss, which wouldn't have mattered. Is the objective to win the game or to gloat about making a 70 yarder though?
71 yarder is much riskier though. Mike would get fired on the spot.It was already obvious that the Browns were totally outmatched on both sides of the ball. At worst, the Browns get a FG out of an Aubrey miss, which wouldn't have mattered.
And it isn't paying stupid when your kicker can legitimately hit from there. Using your logic, no team should attempt a long FG before the half because something might go wrong.
