Wanted to see Aubrey go for the 71 yarder

We all know he could reach it, 66 looked like it had 5-10 more left on it. Woulda loved to see the attempt and I got a feeling 70/+ will happen this year but most likely at home.

And i dont understand why we didnt go for it.

We had the game under control. Big lead. He showed he has the distance. I dont hink you get a better oportunity to test if your kicker can do it.

It didn't have 5-10 worth of clearance. Maybe another 3 tops. The Browns returner takes that one all the way and it is a HUGE momentum shift because the game wasn't out of hand at that point. Small chance but take the big lead into the half and admit you muffed that whole thing up.

You test during warm-ups and even then you don't go all out. He JUST kicked a 66-yarder. I'm sure he doesn't expend that amount of energy on back to back kicks even in practice.

I'm happy he didn't, I don't want the rest of the league knowing that the Cowboys have a super weapon in their toolbox. Oh, I'm sure the league knows he has a great leg, but do they know that he can bang from 70 plus out, NOT YET!

I love Aubrey. When he comes out and it’s 50 or more, I have no concerns. He is automatic from there. I told a friend of mine who was playing fantasy football that if you need a kicker, get him.

I was accused of being "insane" for picking Aubrey in the 4th round of our fantasy draft. No regrets here.

Yeah, the returner put a stop to that idea.

Zero reason to be up so big going into the half and let a Browns team that couldn’t do anything right get a score and momentum coming out of the half. It was by far the right decision.

But yeah, I kinda wanted to see him try too.

I think you're right, The guy is special.
I don't mean to sound greedy, but when he does hit the 70+ yd kick I think it would have more impact if it was a walk-off winner as time runs out.
