Truly, I want every unit on this team - offense, defense and Special teams - to have at least one new face.
The OL can use at least one fresh face. At RG? Or RT? More depth is critical.
The backfield can use a new RB. Choice is a capable backup to Felix Jones. Another rotation guy needs to be drafted. Barber is done - injuries catching up.
At QB Romo clearly starts, but McGee bnneds a shot at bakup role, and if he wins it then a 3rd stringer needs to be drafted.
WR corps need upgrade. Sam Hurd offers nothing to push Ogletree on and Roy Williams is flat out annoying. He's a progress dtopper who needs to go.
TEs can use a shakeup. John Phillips os coming off a kneee injury so I'll put no stock in him, even though i keep him on the roster. Bennett? If i can trade him for anything at this point I do it. I would draft a TE.
On defense, the DL needs an overhaul. I'd bring in a big NT and move Ratliff to DE. Spears is still serviceable as a run stopper.
LBs need an upgrade in Brooking's spot. Sean Lee can fill the void, but nickel-backs who can cover and backups all around are a must.
At CB, I keep Newman and Jenkins as starters with Sknadrick and Ball as the backups. Ball is not a S, but as a backup mickel-CB he can shore up the spot. The team needs to draft another CB to push Jenkins, and the backups.
At S, we need a severe upgrade at FS as we do not have any real FS on the current roster. Sensabeaugh is serviceable at SS. If I can upgrade him through free agency I do it (but I doubt free agency gives us that option this offseaaon). Plus if we draft a FS to start then having a proven vet in Sensabeaugh back there with him at SS is not a bad option.
On special teams, we primarily need a FG kicker. If I could I'd shut down the Buehler experimentt down ASAP. What a game-costing waste that was.
