Giants lost a lot more than they gained with Ward going. How many times does Ward keep the chains moving through screen and draws for that team? He bails Sheli out a lot when the play is breaking down. Jacobs was more of threat after a defense chased Ward around for a while.

VERY underrated RB IMO, and I have always thought Jacobs is overrated. But lets' be real, as much as I hate to say it, they'll draft a running back in the 4th or 5th round to replace this guy. Or even snag an undrafted free agent. They're front office is top notch, and their oline is well....real good. Sometimes reality just sucks guys............

Yep Newlander....I don't think they are going to miss him much at all.

Glad he's out of the division.

Granted, the Giants still have Bradshaw who makes for a nice complement to Jacobs, but at least their backfield takes a noticeable hit.

Ward was the perfect complement to Jacobs but I guess that's what they're going to have Bradshaw doing. Being the Ward complement to Jacobs.
