Ware- 1 and 1/2 sack?

I read some reports that ware had 1 and 1/2 sacks on saturday. DOes someone know what plays they were? The only time I saw him hit the qb was when david carr tried to run up the middle. I thought carr gained a yard or so. ANy explanations?

that play you are referring to was a sack for 0 Yards. he only had 1 sack in the houston game

Carr didn't gain a yard on that play. He lost a yard.

If it was in the second half I'm pretty sure LaRoi was offsides on that play. He was in the neutral zone well before the ball moved.

He had the sack for 0 yards in the first half vs Carr and shared a sack with Glover vs Banks in the 2nd half. Glover mostly cleaned up what Ware created. Even better, Ware was driving the Tackle backward almost every play. Guy has a lot more strength than I was expecting.

Yep, looks like Coach Parcells did it again.

Who knows how many sacks the kid gets, but he will definately bring the pressure and make the QB rush the throw, alot. The other D-Linemen will benefit big time.

Seemed like he was just a step away from leveling the QB numerous times vs Houston.

Ware officially had one sack for zero yards.

On the other play, Ellis and Singleton each were credited with half a sack. Ware got to Banks first, but he lost him when Banks stepped up in the pocket, where Ellis and Singleton got him. Ware created that sack, but he didn't get any of it.

My bad info. I must be thinking of a play that got called back or ended up as a slight gain. I thought I had seen a Ware/Glover combo.

I'm impressed with his strength as well. I think part of it might be he is so fast they are having problems getting proper balance against him.

I think the single most exciting thing so far has been our pass rush. This is the first time in a long time we have had any kind of pass rush.

I reviewed this play in slo-mo and you are correct. La'Roi was almost touching the center when the ball was snapped.

I watched in slow motion on my tivo twice, I didn't need them to show a replay. He jumped before the ball moved.

And since we're talking about the broadcast - the Texans' announcers are absolute garbage. Geeze, what a pair of bitter *******s. Particularly the one who looked like he never played a sport in his life. I don't live anywhere near Texas and even I could hear the jealousy.
