DMN's article on Cowboys beating Carolina 24-20 mentioned that DeMarcus Ware is first Cowboy rookie to record 3 sacks in 1 game since Randy White did it. Not bad company.

In same article they also said Terry Glenn hurt his left thumb in 2nd play of game and was only able make one-handed (right hand) catches rest of the game. Probably another reason he emotional after Cowboys came back to win this game.

After such a big loss and poor play against the Skins, this game was big win for a young team with lots of rookies and good springboard for next year. Another win next week against the Rams at home will set good stage for next season (even if we don't make playoffs this year) if we can upgrade several offensive positions.

There were several times he was reading the play and playing the run. So, I'd say no.. it seemed his responsibilities were the same, but he may just be finally gaining some confidence (as Charles Haley said he needed to).

On Ware he had a great game. I see everybody wants to compare him to Merriman. I think Ware has so much upside, you shouldn't compare them until atleast 4 years down the road. Even with his 3 sacks today, I think he could of had more. He only uses 1 or 2 moves. Wait until he learns more. On pass rushes he rushes wide. That will be easy for offensive coordinators prepare for. I want to happy with this win so we can break down Ware later. Go Cowboys.
