Did you see how he overpursued the play in the backfield, then ran all the way up field to make the tackle and cause a fumble?!!! I could kill Ayodele for fumbling the ball away because it took the attention away from another monster play by Ware.
That was a little frustratin as well. If Ayodele hangs on to the ball, we probably score and pput away the Dirty Birds sooner than we did. Oh well, we won anyway.

Very Jason Taylor-esque

Exactly what I was thinking. Jason Taylor did the exact same thing to Rex Grossman earlier this year.

:hammer:

I'd love it if Ware can become anywhere close to what Taylor is.

I think I am gonna buy a Ware jersey for myself as a late Christmas present.

Romo if he takes us deep in the playoffs.
Yeah I was thinking of the authentic of Ware's jersey.
This guy is getting better by the week.
Pro Bowl bound.

Bleh.

Merriman would have taken it back for an 8-point score. ;)

Normally, I end up on my feet screaming for joy when we make a big play. But when I watched Ware snatch that ball out of the air, I just sat there thinking, "Did I just see what I thought I saw?" Simply spectacular. One of the best plays I've ever seen. When y'all get a chance to watch it again, look at the zip Vick put on the ball. That thing had some mustard on it for sure.

I am really enjoying watching Ware play each week.

Thats the difference between Ware and roid rage. Ware does it ALL very well; rage is just a sack guy, who can do other things ok.

Ware has athletic arrogance. That was truly an amazing play with the way he made the catch and run so naturally. This guy is only going to get better in the next few years. I believe he is by far our best defensive player. If he doesn't make the Pro Bowl the system is fatally flawed.

That was the most effortless stiff-arm ever.

"Hey Mike, you just lay there and relax a few minutes while I run this back."

:laugh2:

ware could be on his way to the probowl...why isnt he picking up the fb? or is it roy not doing that? i know in the end zone that was roy's guy....but all roy wanted to do was to knock out crumpler which i am sure helped us later cause he was limping after one of those hits...same thing on vick...someone hit em and that cause him to get hurt the 2nd time...these things dont show up in the boxscore

Ware showed much better hands than TO, and the reflexes of a cat on speed and roids. That was VERY impressive.

Beautiful play. I think I was more impressed however with his hussling back to catch the FB 20 yards downfield with a Lawrence Taylor like swat of the ball on the FB.

Amazing athletic ability on that play. Don't forget the stiff arm he put on Vick to break loose for the TD. Great play.

Yep and I don't know if they have mics in the turf but if you turn up the sound, after the stiff arm, you hear a thud. That sound was Vick hitting the ground...lol.

As soon as that play happened, I flashed back to Leon Lett's interception of Favre in the 1995 Championship game. Still the most athletic play I've ever seen - Favre was throwing a middle screen, Lett (who was only about 5 feet in front of Favre) jumped left, reached out and plucked the ball out of the air. Those are two of the most athletic plays I've ever seen in a football game.
