If Jerry really cared about this team, he would invest money into cloning Ware.

Glad Ware is ok.

2 of the last 3 games the meat wagon has come out. THe Commanders lineman needed it also.

Its not fun. It was very tense yesterday when ware was just laying there and guys on both teams were sprinting off the bench to get out there.

ware and merriman talked for about 20 minutes yesterday during pregame, they must be good friends because merriman was jumping on him and stuff.

Merriman was one of the first people to run out there and see ware....he left the field shaking his head and giving a thumbs up.

The big thing was ratliff pointing up at wares suite ware his wife was and giving the thumbs up.

Last year when Merriman missed the season, I believe it was the NFL Network that had both Ware and Merriman on at the same time and they were talking about how much they try to outdo one another. Merriman had that 17 sack season, and Ware had 20 sacks... and Merriman talked about how he felt he had to go out and try to outdo that. During the interview, you could tell the two guys had a lot of respect for one another and there was competition between the 2.

For all the negative (and some of its deserving) comments that get made of Merriman on this board, its pretty clear Merriman and Ware have a lot of respect for one another.

Update on Ware for game this week: more good news zoners

Updating a previous item, Cowboys OLB DeMarcus Ware (neck sprain) has not been ruled out for Week 15 yet.

NFL Network's Mike Lombardi reports that Ware will be expected to play against the Saints if he can practice on Tuesday. Coach Wade Phillips also hinted Monday that Ware is day to day, and may not need to miss any time.

It was awful in the stadium there for a minute. I thought at first from my angle he broke his arm, he was trying to lift it and couldnt.

then when they went to commercial I saw romo, witten, barber, crayton and others sprint on the field and sd players like merriman, cooper etc...

I knew then it was bad, then the meatwagon came out and it really got tense.

Jay ratliff and marcus spears were pointing up at wares luxury suite where his wife and his family were, they were giving the double thumbs up so it seemed ok after that.

Ware gave the W sign for win as he was riding off the field and the crowd actually got into it, then newman decided to watch the third and 12 play and put zero effort into it and the game was over!!

Witten said in the locker room, Demarcus ware is the rock on this team, not the defense the team.

I hope he is okay and gets healthy so he can enjoy the holidays with his family.
You could tell immediately something was really wrong with him. It wasn't the typical player slow to get up.

That W sign gave me chills....until the team immediately began to give the game away.

we lost a little more than his pass rushing after he left. we were dazed there a bit. he's indeed the heart & soul of the team

sadly it says more bad things about the team that we did not suck it up and kick butt from that time on. Instead we just let ourselves get beat.

"Adversity does not build character, it reveals it." Said Daryl Johnston after we lost to the Rams last year.

*Update on last page* Resting and will most likely miss one game per Shefter on rotoworld. This is a big loss going into the game on Saturday. With that being said it is great news Ware is going to be ok. That alone should bring some smiles to the board today.

DeMarcus Ware (sprained neck) is out of the hospital and resting at home, but is expected to miss at least one game.

It looks like Ware just got a scare when he was immobilized and carted off the field Sunday. He'll sit out Week 15, probably as a precaution. His absence will upgrade Drew Brees' matchup.

What the hell was up with carting him off like that? Goodness. I guess its to be cautious but when you see someone carted off and can barely see them moving you think the worst. I can only imagine what his family was going through. At that time I was just like screw the game and the season and was just hoping he'd be alright.

I know what you mean it does look really bad, but you have to be cautious with any type of back/neck injury. If they didn't take those precautions and let him (even if he could have) walk off the field and that aggravated his injury no-one would ever forgive themselves.

As everyone else has said I'm just so glad he's OK
