I think it worked out all the way around.

Ware got paid well and is on a good team
Hatcher finally got a nice payday -- much more than he would have (and he needed that big payday for long-term security)
Dallas got younger, cleared cap room, and moved on...and also made the playoffs

win for everyone

Why rip any of them....they asked for certain $$$ and we couldn't meet that...so move on .. Players putting their bodies into this are entitled to get as much money as they can...it is the only opportunity for most football players to hit the jackpot ..

My only problem is when players get the money and make business decisions to not deliver on their end (i.e., fat albert) I don;t then Ware or Hatcher are of that type of player...

I was watching the game last night and thinking how frustrating it would be for ware if the Cowboys win Super Bowl this year.

Don't think Denver is getting in.

Manning's got to get healthy. The Broncos are limping into the postseason. They shouldn't scare anyone right now. Going into New England and beating the Patriots in an AFC Championship game seems like a tall order for a team playing their worst football.

New England vs. Seattle has to be the chalk pick for the Super Bowl.

theres a cash deal you take a gamble on.

take the pay day now or gamble on a ring and PR dollars.

Id say, for example, aikman is making tons more money with 3 rings, than if he would have given up rings for double his pay during the time he played.

I think Peyton has won his one and only Super Bowl . They are simply not going to NE and beat the pats. Denver went all in for this yr. don't think it happens

Too bad that a line in the sand had to be drawn before the season started...and there remained behind a rather large chunk of money still being negotiated with a rather large group of veterans this upcoming off season. Cash flow and a cap are a tough pill to swallow together.

Well after mnf, ware would have had a better chance making the super bowl with Dallas. Denver will be one and done.

Like he has in the last couple, Ware has disappeared as the season has gone on...2 sacks in the last 6 games. I wish I could specifically remember all the people who said he was going to go out and get 16-20 sacks.

Hatch never even bothered to show up in Washington lol

I agree with New England pick. I don't think Seattle offense has enough punch to get there.
