Ware: I'll get Free ready for Commanders

I'm sure he'll cook something up. "Linemen, I want you to rush straight at the QB. Don't you dare stunt. LBs, drop into coverage please. Orakpo, I'm going to try to get you matched up with Witten as much as possible, preferably running down the field. CB blitz? This isn't France!"
I'm sure he'll have something in store, just like Wade should have something for Creeky kneed Levi Jones, BTW, how does he look so far?

Good grief.

Seriously wonder why the poster is allowed to continue his/her obvious stick stirrin BS they always post with.

I would have punted this individual from the boards LONG ago.

I was at the game on Sunday, and it's always harder for me to evaluate players when I'm there and don't get to see replays. But it looked to me like we had a good deal of success running left. I heard he was a bit shakier in pass protection.

So you getting stoned by Free in practice is a sign of him being ready or the reason why you're not producing at no where near the level you were last year?

Oh yea, Free having to go against that has been scrub Ware won't help Free one bit, if he starts against Washington. LMAO!

If Ware is looking to imitate Brian Orakpo, he'll have to lose about half his physical talent and start taking steroids

You sound like a jealous Aggie fan trying to crack on a Longhorn. Its not Orakpo's fault A&M sucks at football. You got proof Orakpo takes steriods, or has taking steroids in the past?

I almost said something earlier but decided to just let him sulk about it alone.

Looks Like It Will Be Free

Although it’s a quiet day here at Valley Ranch, the rumblings from the hallways suggest the Cowboys will indeed look to Doug Free to replace Marc Colombo at right tackle.

Maybe that’s not a huge surprise, but Wade Phillips wasn’t very committal to anything on Monday regarding the right tackle spot. He just said they were still evaluating and he might say something similar on Wednesday, and then Thursday and Friday, too.

But one inside source said Free is expected to start, for no other reason than the Cowboys simply need to see what he’s got.

The other alternative was possibly sliding Leonard Davis over to right tackle and then playing either Montrae Holland or Cory Procter at right guard. There is something to the theory of putting your best five linemen on the field.

Then again, how do we know Free isn’t one of them?

That is a VERY silly and naive statement. Think about what you just said......... .......and think about how just many variables go into what you consider "production".

Now that's leadership and accountability by Ware.
This team seems to have a little of that going on. That story reminds a little of Mike Jenkins meeting with Romo early in the film room to discuss the upcoming QB's nuances.

I think it's perfectly reasonable. I mean think about it, any pass rusher worth a grain of salt is putting up 20 sack season after 20 sack season. We shouldn't set our standards so low, we're the Dallas Cowboys.

You know Ware got hurt on the first series of the Tampa Game, right?, He wasn't himself for a couple of games, but he sure has been the last 4 or 5 games.

He most certainly has been bringing it these past few games. That is awesome to see. I never had a doubt. The man is a FREAK.

I'm actually feeling ok about Free in pass protection. I'm worried about his ability to run-block, though.
My thoughts exactly. He just doesn't look very strong at all.

This team might not be able to make it the distance this year...but this kind of stuff is what we like to hear about to get over the hump -- Jenkins getting QB breakdowns from Romo, Ware helping the backup OL-man get ready for a game...last few seasons our guys were probably peeling tires in the parking lot to get home after practice, and now they're working together on BOTH sides of the ball. I love it.

Oh, and Doug Free WILL be ready after working with Ware, LOL!

WOW!!!!

I hate contributing to top5, favorite Dallas Cowboy lists, because putting Ware at 2 or 3, just doesn't feel right

the dude is a freakin' great human being
