No, if he keeps that pace up from last night he'll win NFL MVP. At that pace he'd have 32 forced fumbles, 16 sacks, 16 interceptions and about 400 QB pressures by the end of the 2005 season. LOL

Ware was a true beast last night.. Here's hoping for continued play like last night throughout the rest of the season.. His understudy, Kalen Thornton, also had a pretty good game as well.

I saw Ratliff harassing Wallace and Greene... But I dont recall seeing or hearing Canty's name being called all that much.. I was looking forward to seeing him go off on Seattle's offense too.

What makes his potential every scarier is that he only used ONE style last night.

He didn't try to spin inside, or the famous Reggie White club move, or a stutter step. He just flat out took off around every Tackle they put out there. He made the play on Hutchinson, but got schooled by Walters.

I might be wrong but I wouldn't be surprised if the coaching staff told him to only use the outside rush with the hopes of setting up some more stuff in the regular season. Every team now knows of his speed to the outside.

In the words of our great leader, "Let's not put him in Canton yet!"

During TC Ware was using a variety of pass rushing moves. I remember an article where Zimmer was describing 3-4 different moves Ware used during one drill.

Maybe you're correct . . . .

I think that is the truly scary part. Ware was able to wreak havoc with two of our potentially best lineman not even playing. Wait until Ferguson and Spears are on the field with Ware. This D could truly dominate this year!

Anyone watch NFL Live last night? Sean Salisbury said that after this game, some of the offensive coordinators on the Cowboys early schedule are now saying, "Oh my god! We have to go into a game dealing with a rookie like that now!!"

Ware's performance was even more impressive than the stats would suggest -- 1 sack, 1 interception, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery.

His sack wasn't a coverage sack against an average lineman. He easily beat a Pro Bowl player with a speed rush. And he went right for the ball and knocked it loose. And he had the presence to recover the fumble, too.

His interception wasn't just a bad throw right to him when the quarterback didn't see him in zone coverage underneath the receiver (as many linebackers' picks are). He had tight man-to-man coverage 11 yards downfield and made a diving catch of a pass that wasn't that poor.

And his other forced fumble wasn't just the ball popping loose when he made a tackle. He again went right for the ball and stripped it out.

All of this suggests that he not only has the ABILITY to make big plays, he's constantly LOOKING to making big plays.

Here's betting that Derrick Johnson doesn't have a game like that this year and people will still say we passed on the best defensive player in the draft.

Pre season or not, this performance is just mind boggling.

I think the same can be said about all of the rookies who have played. They're hungry, talented, intense, and all seem to look for the big play. Win or lose, this is gonna be a fun year, just to be able to watch these guys play.

Yeah, well, I saw in some posts today, that we should have opted to get Jeff Garcia this year as Backup?

I mean did they even see him play in pre-season this year? That guy just solidified Harrington's starting job and even had Crowd booing the the Backup QB, normally the darling of the fans :D

Glad to see everyone getting aboard the Ware bandwagon!

He could make a even bigger impact with a Fergy pushing the pocket back into his rushes...Or a fresher Glover...

Or more pressure by James & Burnett & Roy...

Yes, this D could become DOOMSDAY again!
