Not sure how many of you watched the NFL network postgame show, but ware said that he needed more rest like he got up to the saints game, and it payed off for him with fresh legs. Should wade consider it and listen?:

I just got back from Louisiana, loved it, wore my cowboys jacket 5x superbowl jacket and cap with my jason witten jersey. Met some cowboy fans in Louisiana and gave them www.cowboyszone.com website. One fan didnt want to get on the elevator with me after the win saturday night. Was fun!

Word is he was hiding from the coaches on the sidelines so that Butler could get some playing time.:p: ;)

No I believe it was some truth behind that honestly... Ware shouldn't be playing EVERY down, he was worn down last year around this time too.

After Wade's "glowing" review of Victor Butler's work, resting Ware does not appear to be an option.

As an aside, I'm so glad to see Anthony Spencer receive some accolades for his game against the Saints. He's been solid all year and is finally finishing the deal with big plays. His near sack before Ware's was just as big a play.

He had a dominant December last yr. he had 8 sacks and 4 forced fumbles in the last 5 games.

I was at the game too with my son. I had a blast with all the Saints fans surrounding us. Some voodoo lady was next to me with a stick, trying to put a curse on the Cowboys.

After the game, I got shoved in the back a few times by a classless Saints fan, while I was holding my 80 lb son. I then turned around to find him smiling with a total of 3 teeth in his head. I did talk some smack, and told him that he should have stayed home and saved the money to pay for dental expenses.

:laugh2:

Anyway, back to the subject. I do think that having a fresh Ware down the stretch could benefit this team. Brees is a dangerous QB, about as dangerous as they get. Ware's performance on Saturday night, after being carted off the field 6 days earlier, kinda reminded me of some old school Cowboys. Especially one that played in a critical game with an arm dangling from his socket in 1993. It brought tears to my eyes when he made the final critical play of the game.

How fitting it was.

I would definitely take it easy on him in practice and rest him during the game a few plays if we can continue that kind of pressure in the 4th Qtr

Ware was joking and giving Butler some props. That's all.

Yes, if Ware is "rested" down the stretch of a game, I'm sure he could perform better.... the problem is, to do that, you have to take Ware out of the game and put Butler in...

That's a downgrade.

Play Ware as much as possible, because even a somewhat tired Ware > Butler/

The woman that was with him (not sure if it was his wife, concubine, mistress, girlfriend, or sister) was even more a catch. She had about 10 teeth. If they had a double-date, they could have made a full mouth of teeth between them all.

The funniest part was my 5 year old son busting out laughing when we turned around to look at him.

That's because he was able to hide on the sidelines so Ellis can get more snaps while Ware was having a hotdog and take a break.
