No doubt bro. A couple of years back I had Hambrick gain 2000 yeards on Madden.Billy Bullocks said:Well if they dominate in video games, the same must hold true for real life.
I wish NFL was like Madden, we'd win the super bowl every year. Henson would be a pro bowler each year, and Pete Hunter would be a all-pro
Doomsday101 said:I think it is funny that anyone would even talk about XBox in the same breath as the real game of football. One is for couch potatoes and the other is a extremely physical game. What takes place on an XBox game has absolutely nothing to do with the real game of football. Any moron can play the video game and make the worst team the Super Bowl winner
Eddie said:But after going 5-11, 5-11, 5-11, and then another 6-10 season ... all we have to enjoy is playing video game football.
Considering we had JJ run this team to the ground, at least we can enjoy beating up on our opponents on the Xbox ... since we haven't been doing it for real.
Doomsday101 said:Nothing wrong with that but to make comparison of the 2 is too funny. I have played both the video game and the real game and they are not even close to one another. As for Jones yes he struggled for a few years but at least in my eye's I think this team is moving in the right direction and have fairly high expectation for the ball club this season as in making a legit run for the playoffs.
Eddie said:I agree. I have high expectations this year also. It's been awhile. I've tempered my enthusiasm for years and years. Always wound up "not as" frustrated with the result.
But I think the team is headed in the right direction. Everyone spoke about 2005 as THE year. I don't think so. I don't think we have Offensive firepower to be in the final mix.
Then again, injuries will play a huge role in our success or lack thereof.
But until then, I'll continue winning Super Bowls on NFL 2k5 with the updated rosters ...

Demarcus Ware was interviewed by Rich Eisen on a patio.
Showed some clips of Boys running sprints today.)
Ware talked about growing up in Alabama, wanting very much to go to Auburn, but appreciated getting a free education via a scholarship.
Happy all his hard wok paid off.
Eisnen mentioned Bill considered him a mix of LT and McGinest.
Ware said it as unbelievable to be compared to those playres by a guy like Parcells.
Asked about the water, he was told after an initial weigh in he had to get water every break for Bill.
Said I am, fine with it, I will do it. Bil told him personally it was his job but also said Bill want ice and "no orange gator aid" he found that out.
A key part to 3-4... He will be one - need to get pressure on QB..mentioned Glover, Ferg, Ellis all will be "creating havoc , we will go BOTH 3-4 and 4-3 it "will be hard to tell who is rushing and who is coming frorm where."
After OTAs went back to finish up his degree and graduate. Business Administrations Systems. Mentioned some players who advised him to get his degree. His parents very pleased about it, more pleased than with anything else.
Oh yeah!THEHEREAFTER said:Very good recap Tuna! I saw it this morning. I like his demeanor and the way he carries himself.... Seems like a good kid. Did anyone else get goose bumps when he talked about the 3-4 and 4-3 alignments? I know I did. He kept emphasising CREATING PRESSURE!... also the line about not knowing who is rushing and where from... this is gonna be a fun season!

That was awesome!
NOT to start something (like a flame war or a TheKey style freak-out) , but did anyone think Ware looked kinda, well, "baby fat". A little Pillsbury doughboyish?Chocolate Lab said:In case anyone missed the video, it's up at NFL.com now...

We sure have drafted some likeable players the last few years... What a nice guy Ware seems to be.
I actually didn't notice that, Herms... He just looked like a standard NFL linebacker to me. If anything, it looks to me like he's got a little more room to fill out.LaTunaNostra said:NOT to start something (like a flame war or a TheKey style freak-out) , but did anyone think Ware looked kinda, well, "baby fat". I know he has had to add weight, as opposed to take it off, these last few years.
Not saying he looked like Willie Blade. Or Fergy. Or Tucker, or Spears.
Just pudgy as opposed to muscular.
Probably just me.Chocolate Lab said:I actually didn't notice that, Herms... He just looked like a standard NFL linebacker to me. If anything, it looks to me like he's got a little more room to fill out.
Maybe I was expecting a real tubb-o after the Leftwich reference.
