If DeMarcus Ware had his druthers, he'd suit up today.
The Dallas Cowboys pass rusher is still recuperating from surgery on a torn labrum that caused his shoulder to repeatedly pop out last season. Ware has yet to be cleared by team doctors and won't participate in this week's veteran minicamp, but he told NFL Network's "NFL AM" that he could play this afternoon, if there was a game.
"I feel like if I had to put the pads on today, I'd be fine, and I'd be ready to play," Ware said Monday.

Get one of the top defensive players of this era for an interview

Ask a bunch of questions about offense

IMO NFLN>ESPN x10

But, they have a lot of garbage on there, Sapp and Deion. And the Twitter crap gets annoying. The whole Twitter scene is annoying.

I actually like NFL AM but I could have done without questioning ware on the offense.

Thanks for posting, WG. But, man, that interview was rough to listen to. Between the sandbag questions "Do you think Tony Romo has done enough this offseason?" The reference to Jerry's old comment about his own window closing taken out of context again, and the 3-4 second audio delay, and then the Lactaid segment at the end of it all. Ouch.

Ware's an all-time great, but he interviews like a bowl of cold oatmeal. :)

In his case, I think it's demeanor, but, yeah, there's not much for anybody to get irritated with in that clip. He's the Lactaid of HoF DLs.
