Outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware will make his 78th straight start after all.

Carted off the field with a neck injury last week in the fourth quarter of the loss to San Diego, Ware will play tonight against New Orleans giving the Cowboys defense a big boost.

Ware did not practice during the week but passed all of the strength tests given to him. He arrived at the Superdome at around 5 p.m. with his teammates.

Ware leads the Cowboys with nine sacks and his presence will go a defense that has to slow down a Saints offense that is averaging nearly 36 points per game.

Ware has played this year with two different neck injuries, a stress fracture in his foot and a fractured wrist but he has not missed a game.
