Was it just me or did it seem like, after having a crap first half, that Ware picked it up -- right after Burnett replaced him for a series.

He's always a split second late.

tough to get there on time when the refs are allowing the QB to ground the ball without a penalty though.

Or he's trying to run around the LT on every play. He'll be ok with more seasoning.

Really the only aspect of his game yesterday I was not happy with was the missed tackles.

A blown coverage or two you are going to have to expect -- especially against such a good O.

I agree with you. (And Burnett had two tackles on that series, too.)

But wow, did you see how fast Ware was when he picked up what he thought was a fumble and ran with it?

Once he gets in the offseason program with Jurasik (think the spelling is wrong) and gains more strength, he will be a good one. I saw him try to bullrush Roaf a few times, he can move Roaf back, but just not as fast as you would like. I say look out for him next season!!

dont make him into a superstar when he is just an average player. i think he might be a bust unless he learns how to shake off the tackle's. he needs to push it into hyperjets to get be the linemen.

I did notice on a couple of plays where he was being blocked by the running back he did not blow the RB up. I mean to be blocked by a lineman is one thing but if it is a RB he MUST destroy that guy.

Yes, there are a whole bunch of average players in this league that teams develop gameplans specifically to stop.

and they do a pretty good job of it too

You need to stop focusing on how well Ware is doing in your Fantasy football league and look at actual on-field performance over the course of the season.

Ware needs to work with Charles Haley. What made him a great pass rusher was his inside move, which Ware does not have. Right now Canty and Barber are the best picks from the 05 draft.

I know everyone is tired of hearing this, but maybe he is still adjusting. Let's wait until next year then pass judgement. He has showed flashes of tremendous potential.

I saw Ware pick up the fumble and take off down the field....and the appropriate word was FLYING.....dang, he is fast!

I bet Ware is the fastest DE in the NFL!

This almost made me laugh. No he's not a "superstar", but then agains he's certainly not an "average player." One of two things are going on here, either you're a troll or you're blind. Ware *is* getting to the QB. Green made a couple nice throws while being taken down yesterday and was hurrying his passes all day long. Lucky for him, he was throwing to Gonzalez who can catch anything you throw up. Look at how many dropped passes Kennison had. Without the pass rush, several of those might have been completions.

On top of all that he's incredible in the running game. Almost completely shuts down runs to the left, unless of course he gets double teamed, but even then he holds his own.

In the end, anyone who says Ware is a bust is making an *** of himself.

While I agree, my take is that some people are just plain ignorant.

Ware's impact hasn't produced fantasy stats like sacks so people think he's no good. Fantasy football totally ruins people's ability or motivation to understand the game.

I love to watch Ware play.....he is exciting ......and has a lot of heart.....I don't understand the bad pub.....he is learning a new position!

Both from Troy? Didn't know that. Someone find the defensive coordinator or scout for Troy and sign him up quick.
