Actually I've read some place that several other organizations really believed our team really underperformed. At least one HC believed Ware was not used properly enough to reach his full potential. Won't be surprised to see Ware the league sack leader this year and really interested in how Carpenter will be used along with Ellis. You gotta wonder what Ellis is thinking now. Reading about him he's probably fretting about his future with the Cowboys, but Phillips might use him much the same way but much more of a pass rusher then run stuffer.

I still DO NOT understand how someone with BP head coaching resume can justify sending our BEST and ONLY pass rusher (after Ellis injury) into pass coverage--are you kidding me?

I was soooooooo angry watching some of our loses!

I love that theme. Ware will drop in coverage, but not nearly as much. Maybe a couple of times a game.

Why wouldn't you want that? He's good at it. Maybe not as much, but Wade rushed Merriman so much because Merriman is not good in coverage, or moving in space. He is fantastic in a straight line. I think Phillips will use Ware to the best of his abilities, which remains being a good all-round LB. Not a defensive end standing up.

i think that when your boy Bobby Carp came in he provided a good amount of pass rush and he kept Vick in check along with Ware that right their is a check

i think ware is incredible, he has such good power and speed (naturally) that if he is used the way merriman is then there is no reason why he can't dominate. i think if wade plays him the way he played merriman then he will lead the league in sacks.
