I was high on the guy before the draft (my no.3 guy I wanted). He has so far lived up to the hype. However, today I think he will be shut down. He is going agianst the best tackle in the game, and his name is Walter Jones. This guy never gets his head out of the game, and he is as talented as ogden. Maybe he will make some coverage plays, but unless we line him up to the right, he won't get doubled, and he won't pressure the qb.

Heres to the vets stepping up.

I could be wrong, but in the preseason game against seattle, the one thing Ware had over Jones, was his speed many times, he just blew by Jones, not even allowing him to get his hands on him. Ware will get his 5 sack today.

I hope you're right, dargon. Success of the Dallas defense depends on Ware either getting pressure or demanding a double team.

If Ware is double teamed, it will free up someone else. They can't double him the entire game, I wouldn't think anyway. And if they do, or try to keep a TE or RB to chip him, then it may take away from their already hurting Offense.

Nice dilemma to have for once for our side isn't it? I'm not too worried about it. Even Haley had those days and still got his sacks and pressures. I know Ware is a rookie and will learn those moves as he gains experience, but I think he will be fine today.

I think it's likely that Ware gets one sack early, then Seattle double teams him a little more. The other DL players have to step up and make them pay for it.

Parcells won't allow Ware to line up on Jones on every single pass play. It doesn't make any sense to put Ware in a position where he's going up against arguably the best LT in the league on every single passing down. Ware can move around(switch positions), Jones can not. Expect to see Ware lined up over the RT quite often today on passing downs.

You mean the same guy Ware abused in the preseason? I'm expecting a repeat performance.

Its a fast vs strong. If Ware tries to bullrush Jones he will lose. If he goes around him, he might can win. Its about pass rushing moves and a quick first step. Get past Jones quickly enough and he has to hold, or something else.

I expect Seattle to run at Ware early in the game so hopefully he keeps up his recently solid jump of holding up the contain on his side.

Pass rush wise I agree with the guys who think BP will move Ware around looking for the best matchup and to confuse Seattle's protection schemes. I did see an article which said Hasselback got hit an awful lot by the Texans and I think sacked 3 times even though the running game was running up and down the field on them. So somebody should be able to get to Hassleback. The best option would be Glover becuase that would really disrupt that short drop passing offense of the hawks.

ware was doing it in the preseason against him, he can do it again.

this is the biggest challenge for Ware so far this year, i don't expect him to really do much but u know the great players find a way to contribute against the best and so i wouldnt be surprised if Ware does have a big game

Preseason means nothing, IMO.

Jones has been their franchise player for the last three years. He never signed the contract until right before the season, which means he's always missed preseason. That said, Jones was prolly skating thru the preseason until he gets to the real season.

Another thing. Ware may have been a surprise back then, but he's not anymore. No way will BP allow Jones to feast on Ware all day. JMO

Ware's speed could give Jones a problem. Jones is very good but O lineman like himself sometimes have problems with speed guys. Match ups like the one Ware has today will go a long way in his development. He will definitely learn a thing or two today.
