I was a little disappointed that I didn't see more of Demarcus Ware, and while he only had two tackles I saw in the box score that Meriman wasn't even listed.

Did he even play today? I don't remember seeing him.

He didn't play. And while Ware only had a couple of tackles, he had several pressures.

Ware did make mistakes today but he also had several qb pressures. He continues to show great promise and we will have a demon on our hands when he puts it all together.

He missed Breese about 3x by a breath of air. Breese was MOVING out when Ware even got within 5 ft of him.

Ware didn't get the sacks but he made them hurry throws that went incomplete. He was the only guy getting pressure when we weren't blitzing.

Another thing I noticed was late in the game I saw SD was still double teaming Ware and took a lot of precautions with him in the passing game. SD has a strong o-line and I think the doubling of Ware showed that a top unit needed to account for this kid on every passing play. Wait until he sorts things out mentally, can you imagine what Ware is going to be like when the game "slows" down or him?!

I saw him beat a double team on one of his hurries.

...was inactive. Had he played, he's sure he would have been the difference maker and San Diego would have won. Just ask him!

Make no mistake about it. You noticed Ware if you watched the game.

Yeah, and it wasn't necessarily cuz he did something good all the time either.

Ware needs to develop to be sure..biting inside when he has outside contain..let off coverage without back-up ect...but he will get better and be a beast that makes an impact.

True, but these should be temporary problems. Ware is still learning to play a game that involves anything other than rushing the passer.

6 weeks from now should be much different. Next year he should be a monster.

Give him time.

Ware was the most consistent pass rushing threat we had all day save for Zimmers' blitzes.
