On 4th down, Ware pressured Garcia just enough to mess up that play. It was the play of the game IMO. I know he wanted his sack for the 11th game in a row, but that pressure was so much more important.

i'm sure ware would agree too.

the basically devoted 3 guys to him.

TE to chip, then a rb and LT

He looked a little down after the game. I'm sure he was thinking about the sack record. I'm also sure he was happy about the win. That's what matters.

It pretty much washed away those 3 offsides penalties he killed us with.

Absolutely. Great post. Huge pressure from Ware compressing the pocket and spinning into QB pressures, that cost Garcia the time to make 2 or 3 completions in that last quarter. Awesome job!

If that is the case then it is crap, the team and the win is bigger than any record...

I wasn't happy with 3 off-sides penalties...he played great in prime-time, but he still has to use more than just that speed, guess the snap move, which cost us 3 times today...towards the end of the game, he actually used a great Bull rush.

I said he "looked" a little down after the game. That is just speculation on my part. He may have been thinking about the offisides plays for all I know. I'm sure the win comes first to Ware and everybody else.

No reason Ware can't start another streak next game. He is not going to be shutout very often.

Glad to hear he was able to make a huge play despite not getting the record. I'm sure he's the kind of guy that would take a W over a record any day.

Let's just say a few calls were not made today, probably on both sides.

I don't see him being disappointed being a bad thing. Maybe I'm just greedy like with draft picks but I figured why not have the record and the win. :p:.

I'm sure it was a look of exhaustion he play his *** off again...and Worked alot harder trying to make up for his penalties.

I don't know what his stats are but I remember someone posting them here before and he was off the field in that game like 2 times only in all the defensive plays. He probably wouldn't mind a decent backup to play 2-4 extra plays so he can get a breather to come out stronger.

Can't he still try to attempt it this season? There are 8 regular season games left + if you can make it to the super bowl that would be at least 3 games right there. That would give him 11 games.

Ware's sack streak has been living by strings lately. Except for last week he sacks were coming in the last two minutes. I knew and posted he would have a difficult time getting to the QB this week. While I am sure he is down at least we got the W.

I was thinking same thing.

Thats THREE games that I recall he gave us a chance in the last couple of minutes/secs.

  1. Eagles - we won
  2. Cards - we didnt win but he gave us a chance
  3. Buce - as you said
The guy is FORCE!
