Warren Sapp - NFL Network Employees ...We're Glad He's Gone
2/9/2015 12:55 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Warren Sapp wasn't exactly Mr. Congeniality at the NFL Network -- with a whole bunch of employees telling TMZ Sports they're GLAD he's gone ... because he was a nightmare to work with.

We broke the story ... Sapp was fired from his gig as an analyst for the NFL Network after he was arrested for soliciting prostitutes in AZ last Monday.

Now, after speaking with nearly a DOZEN current and former employees ... everyone is telling us the same thing -- GOOD RIDDANCE!!

In fact, the people we spoke with ... ranging from low-level people all the way up to big shots ... told us there was an unofficial "Sapp Disclaimer" when it came to interacting with the Hall of Famer.

Not really.

They are lucky to be able to work with him. He has been through battles that many of them have only dreamed.

They shouldn't feel worthy to look him in the eye.

You don't start to stare down a bull or wolf alpha either.

I remembered when I pointed out what a pile of garbage he was after the not tipping incident and about all of the awful stories I've heard about him and many posters didn't believe me.

Not a good guy.

lol.

This guy has had so many stories about how terrible a person he is it's hard to imagine that people honestly thought that everyone was out to get him.

All you have to do is listen to the guy in interviews and such and you can tell he's one of those guys whose a real *******. I have no doubt in my mind at all that most people who know him well and have had to work with him are glad they don't have to anymore.

Oh well. I certainly won't miss his commentary on NFL Network.

Anyone remember the story of him stuffing a waitress on a tip because she said "Hey boys, what can I get you?" ?Then he left a snarky remark on the receipt. That kind of gave me a bad impression of him. If someone gets mad over a little casual remark, they must have a serious ego.

(Not that I have a problem with not tipping because of service, but he shouldn't have left a note and not tipped just because of that imo.)

The tipping thing said it all for me. What an idiot.

However, as much as I think a guy going out trying to find some to pay for is pretty nasty. I don't think it should be illegal.

If the assault part is true, that makes him even more of an idiot.

If he stiffed that waitress over that then he is a boy. A silly immature boy.

Warren Sapp -- The Nightmare Continues ... Fired From ANOTHER Job
2/17/2015 12:20 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

First the NFL Network, then Bud Light ... now another company is cutting ties with Warren Sapp ... TMZ Sports has learned.

This time, the company dropping the hammer on the NFL Hall of Famer is ZYPPAH -- a mouthpiece company -- that's used Sapp as its celebrity spokesperson since 2013.

But in the wake of his prostitution arrest in Arizona, ZYPPAH tells TMZ Sports, "We will be terminating our working relationship with Warren Sapp, effective immediately."

"While ZYPPAH fully supports the due process of law, Mr. Sapp's confirmed and admitted involvement in Monday morning's incident simply doesn't reflect the level of character we demand from our brand representatives," a rep for the company says.

"This decision was made in order to preserve the integrity of the brand and the ethical fiber upon which our core business was built."

At the risk of marginally necro-ing an old thread, just wanted to mention that TMZ now has video posted of Sapp basically emotionally breaking down in the police interrogation room after being told he is going to jail...I thought it was pretty funny. They have another video of him describing events to some lady in the same room...probably his lawyer or something, not sure. Can't link to it due to content but it's out there...

Emotionally breaking down as in crying? I mean....by all accounts he's a terrible person who hasn't really progressed into a decent person, but I dunno if that's ever funny in any situation.

It's pretty funny in the context of him going into great detail of what happened to the police officer and being shocked when told what he did was illegal.
