I don't know if anyone on the Cowboys team visits the zone, but my gut instinct tells me that they do. Right now Dallas is in second place, but the season can still be successful. I know I have never played sports on a professional level so I do not know what it takes to be a professional athlete. However like many posters I have served in the military and served in Iraq for a year with the 101st airborne division. So everyone who has ever served is familiar with the term "Warrior Ethos".
One of the things that I took from that creed was the unwavering determination to complete the mission and to never quit. If anyone on this team is reading this now is the time to man up. Play hard and fast. When you tackle someone, hit them with everything you got. When you block someone, hit them with ungodly intentions. Let the opponent know that you will not just lay down. There is now shame in losing, but give it everything you got. Do not overthink your assignment, you have been trained a thousand times over in practice, just implement what you've learned. Dallas Cowboy fans love this team and we are not going to quit them. As much as we complain all of us still watch hoping for the best. Since we fans cannot and will not quit this team, we expect the team to do the same for us.
Soldier’s Creed
I am an American Soldier.
I am a warrior and a member of a team.
I serve the people of the United States, and live the Army Values.
I will always place the mission first.
I will never accept defeat.
I will never quit.
I will never leave a fallen comrade.
I am disciplined, physically and mentally tough, trained and proficient in my warrior tasks and drills.
I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself.
I am an expert and I am a professional.
I stand ready to deploy, engage, and destroy, the enemies of the United States of America in close combat.
I am a guardian of freedom and the American way of life.
I am an American Soldier.
I know being a soldier is not like being a professional football player. However service members take great pride in their service. A mistake would not result in a win loss record, but could actually cost someone their life. Take pride in being a Dallas Cowboy. Members on this forum can only dream of how great it is to be a part of this storied franchise. Go out and play balls out, give it everything you got. Opposing teams can be beat. Play some smash mouth football. Go out there tear their heads off and **** down their necks.

Lastly the team should listen to this speech and enact its values.
If your a player and come across this post take its meaning back with you in the huddle. Take pride in your team and its history. Do not give up, that is unacceptable. No surrender. Do not make it easy on the division and if you don't make the playoffs, take everyone down with you. Hoooaahh!!!
