Was Drew Injured?

I could get into big trouble for this but I have to ask the question. Did Drew get hurt and for either fear or stubbornness not take himself out of the game? I recall that he started off looking pretty good and then the roof caved in. And somewhere during the broadcast I recall the announcers commenting that he was "loosening up" on the sidelines. And that it was rare for him to do so. I also noticed that a lot of this throws were either way high or way short. Much like a struggling pitcher. Could it have been fear of another situation much like the one in New England where he got hurt and never regained his position as a starter. When he looks at the sidelines, does he see Tony Romo or Tom Brady. Now go ahead and shred me.....

Well... there were reports that his back was bothering him a bit, but he mentioned yesterday that it is fine... so maybe he tweaked it, but it's not really an "injury" . At worse he could take a cortisone shot before the game if it was an issue. Also I'm not so sure if the elbow he took to the head on his first down run didn't jog some of the cloudiness from the hit in preseason..

Either way I think he will be fine and back at full strength after the bye.

Maybe injury is too strong of a word. He definitely seemed to tweak something. But I still question if he has Brady on the brain.

According to Mickey, Bledsoe has a potential disc problem. he talked about Troy having the same problems and how it ended his career (NOT the concussion (I have always said it was his back)), and that a disc problem is not "just going to go away". I think he felt Troy got the info in the pre-game visits w/ the team. He (and I, too) feel BP MUST know about this and wondered out loud why Romo didn't go in when Bledsoe struggled. Whatever it is, it better be 100% healed by KO Sunday night or the 'Skins will eat our lunch (again)...

It just seems odd that so few noticed or commented about a potential injury to Drew.

Do you think it might be his concussion against Minnesota?

Whatever is it, we're in dire trouble if he doesn't get back to 100% by sunday.

around the time the bottom dropped out Drew ran for a first down and instead of sliding, he went over the line head first. After the hit he started player worse. Could it be that he got hurt on that play? I thought at first maybe he got knocked whoosey and that was why he played poorly after that. Maybe instead he hurt his back? Either way, there was a huge difference after it.

I hope it's nothing serious. We really need him to play well against the Commanders.
