Was Free hurt or getting benched on and off?

he and Parnell were pretty much alternating series...not sure what the point of that was exactly b/c to me neither can really get into a good rhythm doing it that way....but i think all signs are pointing towards Parnell taking that job

I would have to agree with you on that.

The were alternating.

Garrett said it in the pc they wanted to see parnell

I don't know, I'll have to go back and watch the game again, but the few times I noticed Parnell he was getting owned. But, like most fans, I don't really watch the linemen much, so maybe I just noticed him when he was messing up.

Yeah, the plan apparently was to rotate Free and Parnell throughout the game.

I'm hoping it's a plan to get Parnell more work to determine if he has the potential to be next year's starting RT.

Free definitely will not be here next season.

We either draft a RT, sign a FA, or give Parnell a look-see. I say we do all three.

Supposedly at one point Parnell was playing Left Guard- Livings out for a play or two.

Did not know Parnell had played guard.

those wooden knubs of his are finally splintering.

Free looks immobile out there.

...and Free is hot garbage and we all know it. Problem is, Parnell didn't look too good either: Cinci's Dline is HARD CORE and I'm real glad Tony didn't get seriously injured on the sack that bent him over like a pretzel: looked like Smith missed a block on that play btw.

I didn't see Free come out much from what I saw Parnell was in on the heavy sets like he usually is but I may be wrong

Dockery played lg when livings went out.

someone wrote it was Parnell which really surprised me. So this makes sense

Parnell wasn't bad. He didn't have any penalties and seems to be much faster out of his stance than Douglass Ole' Free.

Here is hoping the kid continues to improve and sucks up snap after snap from Doug Free.

Parnell looked so much better at LT. And Free may be better off moving inside because he just does not look right at RT in Callahan's blocking scheme.

Smith back to RT
Parnell to LT
Free to G opposite Nate Livings
Draft a stud Center

Line fixed. :D
