Was INT supposed to be a pass to TO?

That INT before the half... was he supposed to throw to other side of field to TO?

Is that true that Drew just would rather throw to Glenn and was pulling a McNabb with TO?

What does that matter? He threw it behind Glenn and Madison made a good gamble. Does it somehow make you feel better about TO that it should have been thrown to him?

I doubt it.

I bet that was just a garden variety Hook/Comeback Route and Madison made a great play.

there was no route and the ball was thrown late

the anticipation to know what was coming was good...but the play itself was nothing special IMO

No, he came out from under center with a fake to the right, spun around to throw to Glenn who had single coverage...they were doubling T.O.

We should throw away our goal line package completely and come up with something new. It looks like teams know exactly what we are doing in those situations

It was a horrible play by Bledsoe all the way around, bad read to a short field, bad throw behind Glenn and he threw it 2 seconds too late. A good QB would throw that ball before Glenn makes his break to the outside and he would of thrown it low where it would of been virtually impossible to be picked off.

I don't know. From the sounds of Parcells after the game, it *sounded* like Bledsoe was supposed to throw to the right and Michael Irvin explained it pretty well, Bledsoe made a terrible decision since it was on the short side of the field and it was toward the sideline. Made Madison's job pretty easy for him.

Parcells was a bit ambiguous after the game, but I'm pretty sure that Bledsoe was supposed to go to the right and didn't. In the past 2 years, Parcells has stuck with Testaverde and Bledsoe when they couldn't avoid the pass rush. However, Parcells doesn't put up with bad mistakes for long. I'd be willing to bet money that Parcells felt there was no reason for Drew to throw to Glenn's side on that play and that was enough for Parcells.

What does it matter you ask? Well it matters alot to me... I wanted a TD there and not an INT.

Just because I am a T.O. supporter doesnt mean you have to take that angle with me. I want the W more than anything. Like it or not. If this team does not become become "T.O. ALL THE TIME" then we have no chance.

Even Romo knows that he has to go to TO. TO will make him look better and TO will get what he wants. BIG PICTURE we will win.

It is what it is. TO was big on getting us the first TD. Then he scored on that 2nd TD. Yes he dropped that ball. Thats mostly on him. The ball was a little behind him but he still should have caught it.

How many other bright spots on offense did you see?

I know you are not happy because we didnt get Favre... but now you have Favre-lite in Romo.

We all wanted a TD instead of an INT son. Judas Priest. Terry Glenn is a good WR. Jason Witten is a top notch TE. We cannot become a one dimensional throw it only to TO and he'll lead us to the promised and land and make Romo a star team. Football doesn't work that way.

Its not one dimensional. Its first option or design plays specifically for him. I think we can agree that when TO gets the ball we move down the field.

Bottom line: Romo will not pull a McBled with TO.

Now we start winning.

First of all, Parcells told the sideline reporter (can't ever remember her name) that Bledsoe was supposed to throw that pass to TO.

That being said, the "goto guy" for Romo last night was Witten, not TO.

without a doubt... there is no other reason Tuna would bench Drew except for "improvising" as tuna said.

a bad throw or missed WR is one thing but this was well beyond that... starting from the pre-snap read no doubt

it was a trend and it is unforgivable. :(

Yep... Parcells said that the ball was thrown to the wrong side of the field...

I think that is what sealed it for the change...

It matters to Bill, so it matters to me. :D

Truly it doesn't matter if the ball was supposed to go to T.O. or not. What matters is that Bledsoe made a poor decision followed by a poor throw. Same thing that Romo ended up doing a few times in the 2nd half. Inexcusable for both and more expected from a young, inexperienced guy. Not too much more expected by me since I never expected greatness from Bledsoe.

QBs have to audible and make reads. That doesn't excuse Bledsoe. But it doesn't matter who the call was to go to, it went to Glenn or rather to Madison and Bledsoe went to the clipboard.

I think we can agree that on 4th and 2 the ball hit TO right in the hands and we gave the ball back to the Giants on downs. He isn't the reason we will win, he's just part of the entire machine of winning.

i think the ball was to go to t.o. but the big mistake was taking so long. had he threw the ball sooner it may have worked but you can't mess around when you are throwing that pass and you can't wait for the wr to get open. open does'nt last long on that play
