was there a ridiculous amount of man love for the STEALers from the booth? You would have thought Tenn wasnt even on the field last night. God Pitts makes me sick.:puke:

No, I don't think there was any more man Love than usual. The speech of Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth wasn't anything out of the ordinary, it is just a necessary evil of being an announcer for the NFL or any other professional sport.

I will agree though it does become annoying times. The upside to all of that is, when the Cowboys win their next Super Bowl, they'll be the recipients of lots of man love.

It's something that announcers have to do to build emotional support for the sport by all the fans who were cheering on the Steelers last night.

As an example, when the Cowboys are doing well and they're getting lots of man love from announcers and media.

Think about how you feel as a fan when the media and announcers are essentially agreeing with you and how you feel about your team. My best guess is that announcers are required by the league to be all things to all men when it is at all possible. So don't take it too personally.

Its been my experience that media hate gets even worse for Dallas after they win Super Bowls. Its an East Coast elitist thing going on.

Oh come on. If Collinsworth was any more on Polamalu's jock we would've been watching a rated X game.

There was but fortunately I wasn't listening. I watched the game at a bar and they had the sound off and the captioning on so I just read it. That is the best way to watch a game announced by "Lipless" and "Pencil neck". :laugh2: :laugh2:

Love for a Super Bowl Champion that doesn't have a whole lot of issues?

Naw, can't be.

Without question.

If it were a case of them fist pumping for both teams I wouldn't comment, but last night was sickening. Collinsworth was awful. Embarrassing. Even the flashback clips were one-sided.

At one point they showed highlights of Polomalu, Roethlisberger, Ward, and Harrison for Pittsburgh....they went so far as to highlight their names. The only Titans player they felt warranted the attention was Collins. The score was 7-7.

They are the Super Bowl champs and earned the props. I don't care for them either but that is the way it is.

there was a bit of lovin' coming from the refs too. I think there were a couple of big no-calls that would have hurt PIT big time.

The only thing I heard that was ridiculous (at least I think I heard correctly) was Collinsworth saying that Heath Miller was the best tight end in the game today. I wasnt watching on DVR , so i couldnt go back and verify, but I am pretty sure that is what he said.

For those of you who remember, John Madden used to slobber over EVERY aspect of our team in the 90's. It happens when you win championships.

If you want to see a disgusting display of man love, watch Mike Mayock call a Minnesota game. He's got a purple and gold **** firmly planted in his mouth.

No, he said that everyone on the Steelers believes Heath Miller is the best tight end in football.
