Was It Tipped - You Make The Call

The better question is how did Peppers come through practically untouched!!!!???

It looked tip when it was replayed on ESPN tonight. But that was slowed down and observed frame by frame, highlighted and shadowed. Something the ref's can't do when reviewing the play.

The ball looked weird to that point anyway, and was kicked so low. I could see why the ref's couldn't see any evidence to overturn the call.

Exactly. Especially after with this being the second time. The Special Teams huddle should've sounded like this "BLOCK PEPPERS!"

Bottom Line: If the ref called it as being blocked, there wouldn't have been enough evidence to overturn it. He called it "untouched" and there wasn't enough evidence to overturn it. That's how the ball bounces. (No pun intended).

The official said "no", and CrazyCowboy was thinking pls snap the ball.......because well, I thought maybe it did......BARELY

I haven't seen where anyone answered a question posed elsewhere. Peppers - by his own admission - didn't touch the ball. If you read the rule at face value, it appears that Peppers is still guilty of a penalty. Does anyone know if this is the case? The rule doesn't address what happens if a different player touches the ball.

Regardless, in spite of what many others have said here, I can't tell one way or the other. I don't see the supposed change in the spin of a ball or a change of direction. I've watched it several times and I don't see how it's conclusive one way or the other.
