Think of it this way........If not for a strange series of events we also should/could have beaten the Jets, Patriots, and Lions. This team could just as well VERY EASILY be 10-1.

Actually........there is only three plays that are the difference between us being 7-4 and 10-1. Whats an average play last ?.......10 seconds MAYBE, at best. So out of 11 full games we have played so far ,...30 SECONDS have been the difference.

I think this team is as good as every team in the NFL except the Packers. Yes, this is a team that has come close to losing to "bad" teams. This is also a team that handed the niners one of their only two losses on the road, and won two games against a bitter rival that always plays us close.

At the end of the day, I believe if this team makes the playoffs, they have a chance to beat whomever they play, and that's good enough for me. They have a lot of room to improve in the draft next year, but that should be the case every year.

When I was looking at the schedule the beginning of the year, I would've put us at the same record we are now, with losses against the Jets, Pats, Eagles, and Skins on the road. The only difference is we lost to the Lions instead of the skins. And it's easy to forget that while they have squeaked out some wins against teams you consider to be bad, they also came very very close to beating the Pats, Jets, and Lions, three teams that may all make the playoffs, with two of those games being on the road.

The team is not as great as some might believe, but it's sure as hell not as bad as some might believe.

But has anyone looked at how many teams with a winning record we've beaten? One.

The amazing thing is that we only have one more team with a winning record left on our schedule. Seems almost incredible.

If it wasn't for a blocked punt here or a better playcall there then this team is 10-1 right now. The Eagles are the only team to thoroughly hand this team their arses on a silver platter. You see how this "if" game works?

well, he's sorta right. we look average over all, but then again the entire nfl looks average, other than the packers.

we might be average, certainly the Cowboys haven't played particularly well the last 2 games. But I didn't see anything from Miami yesterday, other than their record, that would suggest it was a 3-7 and now 3-8 team. They played well and have been playing well for a month.

You people are unreal. Only in dallas. The ravens lost to the jags and seahawks. The saints lost to the rams. The giants lost to the Commanders. We beat the rams. We swept the skins. We beat the seahawks. Style points only matter when it comes to dallas? It is bad enough the media an opposing fans judge us differently.....but we can't get mad if we do it to ourselves! Would I like to smash everybody? Sure. But we WON! This is the change garret is bringing. In the past we were not interested in tough fought games. If we could not blow you out we would/mail it in. Seriously, many, many times in the past after crushing losses to sub-par teams, he's written that good teams overcome uneven performances and find ways to win games. Its not an original thought- every coach and commentator in the country believes that- and he does too.

We've survived two early heartbreaks and gutted out two close games in a row and are 7-4. We are not average. None of it matters, however. Whatever we are, our record against the Giants and Eagles will determine our fate.
