And how many pages did that take???I didn't need to do a search. I just needed to look at who the OP was.

Woods injured his knee early in that game.
The Cowboys defense scheme was not prepared for the Rams Zone Running game.
- Other teams followed the Rams blueprint when playing the Cowboys in 2019.
- The Cowboys scheme resulted in defenders taking themselves out of position due to scheme assignments.
- The Rams studied the Cowboys and exploited their defensive assignments.
- The Rams Zone scheme targeted 3 players on the Cowboys defense (1tech, MLB, WLB).
- The Rams used the outside zone run play which starts outside and has the option for a cut back inside.
- The RB's 1st "read" was the 1tech DT (Woods position).
- If the 1tech moved aggressively to the outside (which is how Marinelli played the 1tech vs outside zone), then the RB would cut back inside.
- Later in the game the Cowboys did slow down the 1tech's aggressive move to the outside. The Rams RB then started staying with the outside path.
- The RB's 2nd "reads" were the 2 LBs.
RB reads:
Correct on 1 of 3: Gain at least a couple of yards.
Correct on 2 of 3: Gain 5+ yards.
Correct on 3 of 3: Big gain and likely TD.
Summary of Cowboys vs Rams Playoff Game
The Rams started their runs to the side of the 1tech DT on all but 2 or 3 plays.
- When an outside run is to the side of the 1tech DT, the play-side DT (the 1tech) is 1 full gap farther from the outside than when the play-side DT is the 3tech.
- Marinelli had the 1tech taking himself out of the middle when he was the play-side DT if the Rams showed an outside run.
- The Rams realized that starting their outside zone runs to the 1tech side was a huge weakness of the Marinelli defense.
Belichick had been running a base 4-3 alignment in 2018 similar to the Cowboys alignment.
- For the Super Bowl vs the Rams, Belichick altered the D alignment by moving 1 LB from behind the DL to outside and up near the line.
- The Rams precision blocking scheme and preference to run to the 1tech side was shutdown.
- The Rams ended up starting the majority of their runs to the side of the 3tech DT due to Belichick's adjustment.
- Once the Rams precision run blocking was stymied, their passing game was exposed.
Just the OP.And how many pages did that take???
I'm sure you can find a game from everyone that may look like a dud. Vs the Rams in the playoffs , the man was playing with a torn labrum
The cowboys gave up three runs of ten yards
Before woods was injured. All three runs were thru the middle of the cowboys defense. The new coaching staff is smart enough to realize
Woods is a backup dt at best . He is no different than nick Hayden, Brian price , richard ash , Joey ivie or the other half dozen dots who filtered thru the cowboys during the marinelli years.
