This arena league star is gonna be HUGE in the NFL.
Steve Smith type.
BOOK IT!

Why is is that Dallas is last in line to claim a Desperado player?
He should have been as good as ours seeing as how he was already on Jerry's payroll.

There are rules about signing Arena league players. And there are specific rules about it if the Arena league team is owned by an NFL owner. I don't remember the exact rules (it's been a couple of years since I read them) but they make it seemingly more difficult to sign someone off of your own Arena Team than from someone else’s. They don’t want NFL owners using the Arena League like a baseball farm system.

That's a very bold statment because he is already 27 and didn't have a catch last year.

When an AFL trys to jump to the NFL they have to go through the same waivers process an nfl player does. If all others 31 teams pass then Dallas can sign him IIRC.
