Was the NFL more enjoyable when there was less media coverage?

I was just thinking about how on a Monday, probably back in 1994 or so, I waited by the radio all day to hear if Alvin Harper, who had suffered an knee injury in the previous day's game, was going to miss significant time. This was a little before there were even radio stations dedicated to sports reporting. It took me forever to get any information.

Thinking about that makes me say sports are much better now.

I remember back in the early-mid 90's... when I went into work with the 411 on the Cowboys... everyone asked, how do you know that?

I said Internet.... they were amazed..... ooooohhhh internet.... whoaah!

Debatable. Less then left you wanting more. More now means we should be getting work done than blogging. :)
