I'd fine them for three reasons, even though I don't think it is fine worthy.

1. It's for charity.
2. There is precedence.
3.The guys expected to be fined and some stepped up and declared "bring it".

Bonus reason. They can afford it.

A couple of well crafted press releases from the NFL and the team and this is a PR bonanza for both as well as a windfall for the Salvation Army.

Maybe start a tradition where the players just go ahead and throw checks into the kettle after the celebration.

I'd write a check to throw in but it would just bounce out.

Try the veal!

If the Commish has his way it will be 2 game suspension and 50K fine for each. So no TE's for two games.

Tuesday we find out.
But with all the grief the NFL took for doing it the last time, they might be smart enough to just let it go
MIGHT BE- I have my doubts
Gehlken already saying there won’t be a fine

I'm glad they didn't throw a flag. I just thought using something as a prop gave you a penalty? Did they do away with that? If so, I'm glad.

I'm pretty sure it's within the rules now, so if the refs don't like it, they can make up some other thing to throw a flag at...Oh wait!

The NFL should donate 5k to the Salvation Army for every TD scored during November. Would be a cool tradition to start.

Could make it kind of like the Allstate foundation XP nets in college.

Expect to see the Red Kettles across metro Atlanta this 1st weekend in December.
Also -- 2,000 ROTC Cadets from over 30 high schools will take to the streets for donations to The Empty Stocking Fund.
