Was there any point in the game where you thought the Boys would lose?

I was talking to a co-worker today and he asked me that question.

I was extremely confident that the Cowboys would win this game.

For some reason, I just never got nervous that we would lose.

When Michael Vick hit the 76 yard TD, I felt this just showed that the Eagles were desperate and already digging into their bag of tricks.

Even before the interceptions was overturned, I just never felt the Eagles couldn't win.

I got a little worried in the beginning when I felt we should have been up 14 points and were committing penalties.

It didn't last long but I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little worried there in the beginning.

Before the INT was overturned, I have to admit: the "here we go again" thoughts stared to surface. When the call was overturned and the Cowboys went on to score, all doubt was completely erased. I knew we would win.

The overturned interception.

I didn't think we were going to lose at that point, but I did think "oh great, now we'll have a dog fight of a game after we looked so dominate to start off". After it was overturned and we went down and scored, I had no doubt left.

No. There was no point prior to the game, during the game, or anything where I felt like we would lose.

Not really. I was a bit concerned that in the 1st qrt we were moving the ball well but not putting up any points as we made some mistakes that hurt us. Once Dallas got rolling I felt very confident

The blitz and nerves were getting to Romo right around that Int being overturned and I was a bit concerned then. It may have been a long night if that would have stood, but our defense is so good right now it probably would not have changed much.

Me too. I wasn't able to see the first part of the game and was listening to it while driving so when they scored on that big pass play and then Romo is picked off I was pretty pissed and my wife asked me, "Are you giving up hope so soon?". I said, "No, but this isn't sounding like we are playing the way we should be."

Then when Jenkins intercepted the pass and fumbled it away I was furious (I had gotten home in time to see that one). All of the penalties, the stupid plays, I was starting to feel like we would piss the game away in the end but then we started to get it together and scored a couple of times and I felt much better about it.

No, but the penalties and missed scoring opportunities early were bad.

and having been in the stands for the skins comeback against us in 05 and our comeback against them in 04 I always feel like there are ways for each team to find a hole to get back into the game.

But I never felt the eagles get any momentum and if you were in the stadium you would have seen how frustrated they were on the sidelines and on defense. They were starting all kinds of trouble, jackson and samuels just simply didnt stop trash talking.

We were so far in their heads I never felt like they had the kinds of guys that could get back into it.

Nope...............not even the day before. We're just a better team.

I will say, Harrison and the other pure Cowboy haters that picked the Eagles........................should be chastised. There's NO WAY a football analyst/ex-player couldn't see that the Eagles are not in the same class as Dallas. Athlete to athlete, across the board, there is no comparison. Period.

I give Newman at least partial blame on that. He was standing there calling for Jenkins to lateral to him.

That's the kind of thing you try when you are behind by 20, not when you are up and just took the ball away.

For the first time in a long time, I had the jitters before the game started.
My stomach was tossing. That was about it.

I went into the game thinking it was 80/20 that we'd win. But the jeopardy for the organization if we were to lose had me jumpy as a cat all day Sat.

Once the game started, I was sure we were going to win. The Maclin score and overturned pick had me thinking it might be a longer game than I wanted to see for a bit, but I was still confident we were going to win. You could just see it in the way we played from the minute we got on the field.

I was at the game, and no, I never had any doubt. I was watching the body language of the Cowboys on the sideline early in the game, and I could tell we were going to win.

When we totally dominated the 1st quarter, and it was even I thought about it. When they called the illegal block on Witten when it would have been 1st and goal from the 1 I thought about it. When Romo threw the pick that was reversed I thought about it BEFORE the reversal.

That near INT reminded me of the NYG game, where all the big negative plays came at once. Philly had just hit us with the Vick TD and the very next play was at the time an INT with possesion in our red zone. Not to mention, th type of throw from Romo that led to the INT. I have to admit, I got really worried until it was overturned. Once we promptly dusted off and marched down the field, I knew it was over.
