There is a story about when he was at Langston. He supposedly walked on to an opponent's bus and proclaimed that he was going to kick all of their butts. Wouldn't you know it, he did.

That was Harvey Martin,Hollywood was fantastic and could play. Read his book out of control it was a great and any self proclaimed cowboy fan should read it

Will check that out. Can only read "Boys Will Be Boys" so many times. Did the same thing with a book about Staubach in the early 80's. Never did figure out where that book disappeared to.

Lilly, Staubach, Lee Roy Jordan, Harvey Martin, Randy White, Everson Walls, Drew Pearson, Aikman, & Emmitt Smith to me all had more swagger than Irvin. I'm sure there are more but these are off the top of my head....

Deion was great but he was a hired gun and a showboat, Irvin was awesome but dude had issues and his persona was different. When I hear the word swagger I think of somebody smooth, not distasteful...
