Was this loss worse than the loss to NO?

This loss was far worse than our loss to NO. I am one who really thought that NO was going to come into dallas and beat us. Now granted I did not expect them to embarrass us but they did. With that being said I thought we would beat the iggles rather easy, I know it was a division game and all that but I thought this team would be ready to play. For those of you that say the tone of the game was set on the goal line stand I must disagree, I believe the tone of the game was set on the first iggle drive. And if it wasn’t I believe the tone was set before the game ever started. The boys came out so flat that you would think they were playing for draft picks. For those of you that blame the coaches I agree to a point but at some time the players must make plays and sorry to say it but they did anything but make plays. With the way the NFC is playing out I think we will be better off playing the Seahawks in the first round of the playoffs, but I imagine will make their nobodies play like all pros. All in all I will summarize my feeling with one statement “I wish this team of ours would play with some heart and emotion”. Merry Christmas and lets hope for a better New Year for the boys. PS. Note to Bill Parcells don’t give these guys another day off until the end of this season.

Absolutely.

Without a doubt this was worse than the loss to NO. Mainly because this was for the division title, at home. I mean, it doesn't get bigger than that.

That was a real opportunity to, ya know, win our division, or something like that, which is pretty key to making any kind of run at the superbowl.

Just a really embarrassing loss, on Christmas, nonetheless.

I think the NO loss was bigger. Once we lost that game, we didn't control our fate. If we beat the Saints, we fight for a bye week. Once we lost the bye week, I think the team quit.

Maybe quit is too strong, but I'm just going by what I see.

There is a problem somewhere.

This team has crashed.

Changes need to be made.

just think though...if we kick that fg like we should have things would have been alot different...even though we lost be more than that...who knows...in a playoff game dont you see us kicking that FG?

It wouldn't matter.

The Defense did not play tonight. We are extremely lucky we didnt give up 45 points.

Of course it was worse because not only did we pretty much lose the division but we showed that with 2 weeks till the playoffs start we havent improved one so bit since the Saints beatdown

A lot of our problems are at Corner [ok..its Henry]

Henry had another lousy game, and his INT return showed just how much speed he LACKS.

This guy is not going to be back.

A. Glenn also showed that his size is a problem. He was nearly destroyed by their TE.

So much for the Saints game being an aberration.

So much for this team "Steamrolling" the Eagles.

So much for all those Cowboys fans who whine and complain because some "expert" picks Dallas to lose.

This defense is overrated, and the offense is inconsistent.

The three hopes I have is that ...

1. We play better on the road.
2. Teams tend to play better and more conservative in the playoffs (which plays more to our strength) and
3. This is still a relatively young team, guys/gals, with most of our starters on defense (Ware, Roy, Newman, Watkins, Canty, Spears, Burnett, Carpenter) with five years or less experience.

I'm hoping we right the ship, but I fear we're still wearing diapers.

This has to be a worse loss. It was for a championship and we laid down. All of the player meetings in the world won't help cowards.

In a word, yes. This was maybe the worst loss in a decade because of what was on the line and who it was against.
