Was Tim Tebow REALLY the best college FB player this year?

Did he not study what other running QB's did to Michigan? Percy Harvin is a baller, but Tim Teabow is just not impressive.

He is not the best, but his numbers for running and throwing TDs were the best.

McFadden was the best player i watched all season, and i watched a ton of games.

That makes it even funnier that he couldnt do ANYTHING against the team most susceptible to the spread offense in division 1 college football, a team from the 'slow' big 10.

Michigan's offense looked real 'slow' ;)

Also credit the defense... Tebow was under fire ALL game.

What did you think of that offensive playcalling? I was convinced Rrod was texting in the plays from his cell phone until Llyod played for the field goal late in the game.

Henne showed who was the better TRUE QB.
Henne was extremely sharp all day, but that's just silly to say he's been the better true QB all season.

Just because he has been hurt. Colt Brennan was a better 'true' QB. Tebow looked like a disaster late in the game when UrbanTheGenius decided to throw every down.

I guess you missed his 2 picks. Henne played a better game today then he did all season long.
Weird game. Hart had not fumbled in 993 carries over a period of 3 years, 2 months= and he fumbled TWICE in this game. That was all that kept the game close was Michigans turnovers.

I agree about Percy, the guy has great feet - we've needed a guy with that kinda wiggle for a long time. Seems none of our guys are a threat after the catch outside of T.O.

Seeing him in person did it for me, the guy just has another gear in the open field. Deceptively strong as well.

One of his picks was off of a double pass.

He looked like a disaster when his O-line decided to lay down.

I didn't think so. His stats were impressive, but he did not play all that well in the big games (i.e. LSU, UGA) and McFadden was far better in the big games. I think he has a lot of talent, but he's probably going to take a few years after he's drafted to be ready in the NFL. I really think that with these college teams using the spread offenses it causes a bigger learning curve for young QB's. Unfortunately some team will probably start him right away or only give him 1 year to learn when he probably needs 2-3 years before he's ready.

He needs to learn to slide. He won't be playing football long if he keeps getting hits like that. Florida was lucky they were not blown out. Hart's fumbles kept Florida in the game.
