Does everyone here remember our defense in that game? We came out with Stunts, Blitzing the QB, and in all out attack mode in our first meeting. That was the best defensive showing ive seen since 2014. Yet, since then we dont do it? It is amazing to me how often we change what is working to just go back to being bad. Its not like our defensive personnel is worse this year than last year, so why dont we have that gameplan week in and week out? Discuss.

Dallas blitzed and played more zone coverages on the back end which confused Cousins. They were expecting more man coverage.

Marinelli hates the blitz. I hate his defensive scheme. Other teams in the NFL seem to be more creative.

You can blitz Eli but you HAVE to get to him. The problem with Dallas is that they have not been able to get to him consistently for years so they get burned when they blitz.

The Giants offensive line is not great and other teams with pass rushers that can get to the quarterback consistently will have success because Eli can get rattled and frustrated if hit enough.
