He re-aggravated an ankle injury. He went back into the game, but he'll probably be questionable all week.BraveHeartFan;2377646 said:I saw last night that Portis went out yesterday with an undisclosed injury. Does anyone know how bad that injury was or anything on it at all?
There's no doubt that JC will start throwing some interceptions, and he lost his first fumble yesterday. But as a Commanders optimist, I think we can overcome that by being more efficient with the chances we have. Our offense ranks 7th in yards/game, but only 23rd in points/game. If we commit fewer dumb penalties, drops, and other assorted boneheaded plays which stall drives, we might not be in so many close games.DTK;2377567 said:The Commanders, though good, are winning by the skin of their teeth this year. Heck, this was their largest margin of victory. When JC starts turning the ball over, and he will, they will start losing these close games. AND if Portis gets hurt, their really in trouble. That running game keeps their defense off the field and allows them to look better than they really are. I see a few losses in their near future.

It wouldn't be so bad if Betts was healthy, but with him out we'd have to rely on Shaun Alexander. Not a pleasant thought. There's also the possibility that Moss will sit out the game to rest him hamstring. Our defense better be ready because if both those guys are out we are going to have trouble scoring.BraveHeartFan;2378347 said:That would be a blow to the offense if he's down for any time frame. He's making that offense go right now, IMO.
I'm really looking forward to the rematch here in a few weeks. Should be a really good game.
