But why not bring him back as a backup it looks like if he gets more snaps more time you know these late bloomers and I know these are different scenarios but you got Geno Smith Baker Mayfield and Sam darnold and I know they were higher draft picks look really bad and then all of a sudden they look pretty good with the right people around them why not groom a guy who has mobility who has more athletic ability than Cooper rush you should be grooming a guy even if you don't turn out to be a good starter I'd rather have a guy that can make plays all over the field off script as well I think Lance is better than rush when it comes to that if you let him get the snaps he needs the time yes.. But a guy like Cooper rush we already see his ceiling he's not going to do much to win you a couple games and then lose you two or three win a couple but when you're trying to groom a guy he should be the number two guy because you know what you're not going anywhere when you're #1 clear franchise quarterback goes down you're typically not gonna win many more games get where you wanna go so you might as well be grooming a guy quality snaps that's what they need.
Because Zeke was the number 2 back !

Never understood playing Zeke over him, especially when Dak went down. Zeke at this stage needs a dominate oline to get yards.
